The Cambridge IGCE course will be formally launched in the UK in September 2012. It covers areas such as business plans, communication, finance and marketing. The non-controlled assessment accounts for 50% of the final mark. The course is fully recognised by Ofqual as a formal GCSE qualification in the 5 A* to C grade in the school league tables. A scheme of work is available upon request for either a one or two year course.

The school2Business Enterprise Programme consists of two hours tutoring each week. Ideally the group size will be no more than ten, as higher numbers mean less individual attention to students.

During this time we will inspire, engage and inform students on how to start a business. Enterprise is about mindset and how to spot opportunities; young people have vivid imaginations and this can be harnessed into positive actions.

Whether you are a school, college, community group or organisation, we can deliver this programme on-site with minimal requirements. It is possible that your institution may wish to have different groups of students participating on the programme at various times of the day, week or year.

The programme has several positive outcomes, as students may go on to further education, self-employment or be better prepared for the workplace. One of our objectives is to get the students to set up and run a micro-business whilst still in education and with the advice provided by us, continue the business after leaving.
